Dr Melissa Bessell graduated from the University of Sydney in 1999 and completed her general practice specialist training in 2003. Since 2008 she has worked in student health at The University of NSW and The Australian National University. She holds postgraduate diplomas in practical dermatology, child health and diving and hyperbaric medicine, as well as postgraduate certificates in travel medicine and reproductive and sexual health.
