Dr Crossman graduated from Newcastle in 2002 and has done post graduate study in tropical medicine and public health in the UK. He worked as a GP in Broken Hill for 7 years including a period with the Flying Doctor service. He is currently the senior Medical Officer in the Department of Foreign Affairs.
He has special interests in LGBTI, travel medicine, aviation medicine including CASA certification; as well as chronic disease and mental health
